During school, My Friends and I were focusing on our school work until the bell rang. We assumed it was lunch but it was unusual that it took a long time to stop ringing. We were unaware that it was a lock down drill awareness and rang back into class. All my Classmates hid under tables and bean bags. We all knew that it was a drill but kept quiet. When our Teacher said it was now remaining safe, we stood up relieved and had a little stretch before going back to our school work.
The lock down drill awareness is important for children to practice because Lock down drills like this, could happen out of nowhere. But you would know what to do when you practice things like this which is really important.
